Today, a week of saluting our armed forces culminates in Armed Forces Day.
Normally there are events across the constituency to celebrate and say thank you, especially in Andover. But this year the pandemic means that those who serve, and who have done their duty in the past, will need to be in our minds and hearts, which is where they should be all year round.
It won’t surprise you to know that quite a number of MPs have served with distinction in the past, in all three services, and they got together in Westminster this week to mark the occasion. So please raise a toast today to the men and women of the Army, Royal Navy and the RAF and thank them for their commitment to our country.
