On Friday 23rd March I hosted a Disability Confident summit at the fantastic Enham Trust with my friend and colleague the Minister for Disabled People Sarah Newton MP. So many local employers came to hear about the support available to help them hire disabled people in their organisations and the massive benefit they can get from bringing them on board. We heard some inspirational stories, not least from the star of the show Chloe, who works at Enham Trust, about the confidence that being in work gives her too. 16% of people have a disability and there’s no way companies can afford to miss out on that talent!
