The local elections saw a fantastic result for us in Whitchurch and solid progress in Overton. We managed to win the Whitchurch seat for the first time in 42 years and Dave George was deservingly installed as a councillor after many months of hard work and campaigning.
In Overton, Steventon & Laverstoke the energetic and committed Alex Hedger managed to increase our vote share by 12% and had a swing to him of 9% following a really good campaign. Well done to them both.
We were all exhausted after the results came in at 4.30am but after a few days rest, we will be back at it knocking on doors and talking to the good and sensible people of lovely North West Hants. For the moment however, thank you for your support!
