I recently met with Ocado senior management to discuss their plans for the site and I am pleased to announce that Ocado remain committed to Andover. Surveying of the site has commenced with a view to scoping out future potential and they have also begun to install 10,000sq ft of temporary refrigeration units with an aim to being geared up and ready for April deliveries. As the surveying is still ongoing it is difficult to provide a fully accurate picture but, on present plans, they are looking to start demolition of the fire ravaged site in the coming months and rebuilding as soon as practicable. I will continue to engage with Ocado and push for a solution that is right for our community.
