I’m holding a Broadband Summit to update constituents on the progress with the high-speed roll out on Friday 3rd February at Kingsclere’s Fieldgate Centre from 10am to 12pm.
Broadband is the issue that constituents contact me about the most and making good on its promises to people on connectivity has to be at the top of the Government’s agenda. The last Broadband Summit I held 18 months ago went down well, but since then broadband policy has taken clearer, and more promising, shape. I am inviting representatives from Hampshire County Council, BT and Broadband Delivery UK, the Government agency responsible for the broadband roll-out, to join us and speak. We should be able to shed some light on plans.
