Over the last few years I’ve got to know this brilliant little charity quite well. We’ve done sponsored walks and visits, and as they’ve developed their facilities at Redenham, I’ve dropped by the catch up. And so it was last week when I dropped in to their annual barbecue when they thank supporters and let people have a look around. The brain child of Billy MacLeod MBE, the organisation works with veterans struggling with PTSD and other mental health challenges, giving them confidence and a sense of mission in their lives. It’s a really good example of a little platoon making a huge difference, rebuilding lives one by one.
