A really positive, Covid secure, visit to the vaccination centre at The Lights theatre in Andover this week to see for myself how the work is going and hear from the staff and clinicians what more I can do to help.
Dr Ben Sharpe and the team are doing a brilliant job getting the Pfizer and Oxford vaccine into people’s arms as fast as they can, and the army of volunteers is providing vital help in marshalling and supporting people to get this life saving treatment.
It was very touching to see and hear the relief and gratitude of so many people coming through and a tangible sign that the end of this Covid nightmare is now in sight.
