I was honoured to be asked by the local Andover Malayali Association to inaugurate their Cultural Day on Saturday.
The day was built around an Arangetram, a performance that is the culmination of years of training in Classical Indian Dance for students, and is a huge occasion for the performer and their family. I was very impressed and pleased to get the chance to wish them well and congratulate them on reaching the end of their training.
