This week marks the 75th anniversary of VJ Day, the Allied Powers victory over Japan and the end of the Second World War. A Two Minute Silence will take place at 11am on Saturday, 15 August as part of a memorial service led by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, aired on BBC One.Ahead of that, I would like to draw your attention to an interactive map put together by the Royal British Legion, letting people across the world share their, or their loved ones, stories of service. It makes for some very humbling, and sobering reading.
