Studs and stables are an important part of the landscape in North West Hampshire so it was great to celebrate both them and the contribution of people working for them at yesterday’s British Horseracing Authority Stud and Stable Staff Awards in Parliament which were sponsored by Godolphin. Congratulations to Terry Doherty from Watership Down Stud for being named Employee of the Year and to Chetan Singh, a work rider for Andrew Balding who was nominated for the Rider/Groom Award.
