Saturday was a busy day in Andover and across the constituency. Supporting our small businesses is important all year round and a subject close to my heart, but focussing on them for just one day a year is vital. This year Andover Town Centre Partnership, along with the Federation of Small Businesses and Test Valley Borough Council really made a huge effort to attract as many people as possible into the town centre. Performers and musicians highlighted a really great market day and all the shops I popped into were buzzing. From David Mellor Jewellers to the new Charlie’s on the upper High Street and all the other independent retailers in between, I hope the day kicks of a great Christmas season for them all.
