Last night, the Prime Minister announced the UK will enter the next step of lockdown.
The five tests set out by the government have now been met thanks to the difficult sacrifices made by our entire community. In the next step, there will be changes to schools, the economy and socialising.
As the Prime Minister has explained, all changes to lockdown measures are conditional and should the rate of infection begin to rise we will have to increase restrictions again.
