Print contract secured by Andover Small Business of the Year

Local Conservative Candidate Kit Malthouse visited Bulpitt Print in Andover this week to agree arrangements for his campaign printing. During the visit he toured the premises and was able to see for himself where the thousands of leaflets, fliers and posters needed for a general election campaign will be produced and meet the team that will produce them.

Bulpitt, based off East Portway, have recently taken delivery of a brand new 4-colour lithographic press that allows them to produce even higher quality work at greater efficiency. They were recently named as Small Business of the Year at the 2014 Test Valley Business Awards after 25 years of operation in the town.

Kit Malthouse said: “The Conservative Party normally produces its election literature through a central contract, but we felt that Paul Bulpitt and his helpful team could produce superior work just as cost effectively and so we decided to go with them. In a fast-moving campaign it is also important that our paper communications can be produced quickly, and we know Bulpitt pride themselves on hitting deadlines.“

“Every penny we spend on the campaign is raised locally, so we are keen to spend it locally too. Bulpitts commitment to using environmentally friendly paper is also key.”

Paul Bulpitt said: “I pride myself in knowing all our customers personally so it was a real pleasure to meet Kit and agree what his campaign will need over the next few months. We also talked about the issues we face running a small business, which he understands as a business owner himself. He will get the same dedicated, efficient and cost effective service we have given to all our customers over the last 25 years.”
