The local shop is often the beating heart of the village in North West Hants. What they need to thrive and grow is not always the same as what other businesses need. They have specific requirements which should be a political priority. To discuss these issues and to pull together an action plan that can be put to government of all levels, national, county and borough, as well as to the Post Office, I am holding a summit of village shop owners and operators so that I can hear first hand what they have to say, and what they need.
