New £4m fund announced for community WW1 projects

Are you an individual or a community group looking to explore, conserve and share the impact of WW1? If you have an idea for a local project, whether it be researching and recording local heritage or conserving war memorials, you can apply for a grant of up to £10k from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The extra £4m lottery cash has been announced to help communities mark the Centenary of the First World War. It’s so important that we remember the impact of this war one hundred years on and share its inspiring stories. You can find out more at www.hlf.org.uk
